Back in January, I had the pleasure of being part of this lovely winter photoshoot, inspired by the medevial setting of Langley Castle.
Langley Castle is situated in beautiful grounds near to Hexham, and is an ideal setting for a grand wedding day.
Kristy from Simply Bows wanted to create some wonderful inspiration for her brides and grooms for their castle-setting weddings. She chose sumptuous gold and cream colours to bring out the room colours and stone work, and Wendy created some simple but beautiful table stationery to compliment her choices.
Adam Prest came up with three completely different to each other table centre pieces, two of which were more unusual – one a large tree branch in a glass vase, featuring glass baubles with tealights inside, hanging from the branches. There were also yellow tulips and birds perching on the branches.
His other unusual piece was an inspired choice for winter weddings: Snow drops and moss placed around a glass bowl, the bowl had a snow/ice effect with floating candles. A really quirky table centrepiece and a great talking point.
Kristy wanted to show her brides that there is a lot more choice available with chair sashes, and they definitely don't need to be all the same colour organza bows. She had a wonderful flocked cream material, which went beautifully, and on another table, shimmering gold bands centred with a circular brooch.
Wendy, of By Wendy Bespoke Stationery created some stunning table stationery including menus, place names and table numbers. Her designs complemented the decor wonderfully.
I really enjoyed the photoshoot, as well as all the stunning tables to photograph, Kristy and Adam kept me entertained with anecdotes and stories whilst I was working, and my tummy was aching with laughter at times!
Thanks for inviting me to be part of your shoot!
