A colourful "UP" inspired pre-wedding shoot at Minsteracres: Shaun & Jo

Arriving at the beautiful Minsteracres to meet Shaun & Jo for their pre-wedding shoot, I passed a line of huuuuuuge californian giant redwood trees leading up the driveway. I was already mega excited at the prospect of shooting their wedding in such a stunning location, when they greeted me jumping out their car dressed up in vintage fabulousness!!! Woaaah!

After some hugs, and taking in how fab they looked...

Jo: "You know the movie UP?" 

Me: "Yeeeeess??"

Jo: "Well we thought we'd make the most of our pre-wedding shoot and go with that idea.... i've brought some balloons, if that's ok?"

Me: "UHHHH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So that's pretty much how it went! 

They also brought their gorgeous adorable Yorkshire Terrier puppy, Zane, and Jo's sister, Danie came along with her dogs and was an absolute star with looking after all of them and the props too.

Shaun & Jo are getting married next month at St Elizabeth's church at Minsteracres, and have the honour of being the first couple to have their wedding reception at the Lord Crewe Arms in Blanchland since the two year refurbishment has taken place there! We visited Lord Crewe Arms afterwards to chat over their wedding details, and wow it is a very beautiful & unique place. The staff were so lovely and the food looks amazing... I am sure they are very excited about their wedding and I am looking forward to sharing in their special day with them and Zane their puppy :-)
