Ken & Kate: A beautiful rainy Edinburgh wedding

Kate and Ken tied the knot on 11th June 2011 at Edinburgh Napier University at the beautiful Craighouse campus , and despite torrential rain, the day was perfect. Kate wore a gorgeous long glamorous dress and the surroundings created a wonderful elegant atmosphere. 

The group photographs were taken on the incredible staircase, and we got some lovely bride and groom shots outside with the wedding umbrellas. I also got some wonderful candid shots of the guests arriving under umbrellas. I think it's important for the photography to tell the story of the day and I think the rain really adds to the atmosphere.

Lewis & Anne's Lake District Wedding - Fabulous, Fun & Family!

Anne & Lewis tied the knot on 28th May at Kendal Register Office, followed by their lovely DIY relaxed reception at Langdale Youth Hostel near Grasmere. It was a pleasure to be part of such a great day, and the scenery was magnificent. Anne & Lewis' children were their bridesmaids, and their youngest daughter refused to leave her mother's arms which made for extremely endearing photographs during the service!

 The reception venue was decorated by the couple and their family, and included homemade bunting. There was a roaring fire with comfy arm chairs, and such a relaxed feel. The children had lots to do, from board game to a bouncy castle, and it was great to see everyone having an amazing time!
