Hotel Du Vin Wedding Newcastle (Heather & David)

Heather & David planned a small wedding at Hotel Du Vin Newcastle, on 4th April 2014. With fifteen in total, including the bride and groom, every guest was so happy to share in their day, with lots of smiles and a few tears :-)

The day started off with Hair By Becci, bridesmaid Rachel,  bride Heather,  and myself in a fabulous room overlooking the River Tyne, for the preparations. The atmosphere was very chilled out, perfect!

The ceremony and wedding reception took place in the quirky Shipyard room, which has exposed red brick, and a fab mural, and a chandelier made of wine glasses... so pretty!

After some drinks, canapés, and relaxed group & couples photographs, it was time to sit down for the wedding breakfast in the Shipyard room.

A Warkworth pre-wedding shoot (Heather & David) featuring Kinder Surprise!

Heather & David are planning their intimate Spring wedding at Hotel Du Vin Newcastle, with close family and friends. We met up on a very windy January day in Warkworth, Northumberland, for their pre-wedding shoot.

David had proposed to Heather using a toy ring in a Kinder Egg, to remind them of their first date when he came bearing Kinder Eggs, just to make a lasting and fun impression....how sweet is that? So on hearing this at our first meeting, I knew that Kinder Eggs had to feature in their pre-wedding shoot, and I look forward to seeing how they are incorporated into their wedding too!

Despite some initial nerves, they both got into the swing of things with having their photograph taken and by the end of it even David was cracking out some model poses.... hehe!

I had a blast with these two and can't wait to see them as bride and groom in just a couple of months, eeek!
